Clarity has been great, no complaints about the car. However, although I am very careful and gentle with it, screen is in a rather embarrassingly bad condition. Any thoughts on it or remedies available? (p.s. I looked for a previous threads on a topic and found none, if I missed it, sorry). Thanks!
I always use a micro fiber cloth on mine and is still scratched, hopefully someone has a successful idea.
Unfortunately I don't know of a solution. The screen is not replaceable like in other Honda models like the CR-V. You have to replace the entire head unit which is very expensive. Some types of hand lotions or sanitizer can easily damage the screen. That is what most of the damage on yours is probably from. I have had a screen protector on mine since the day I bought my Clarity. You can buy them on Amazon. If you end up finding a replacement screen or getting yours repaired I would highly recommend getting a screen protector. Installing a screen protector now might make it look better than it does.
That photo looks like there is a screen protector film on the display. If so, that can easily be removed and replaced.
Time to get a screen cover. Search the forums and some really good options mentioned. The surface itself is cheap and wears over time. A glass screen cover heals all wounds.
