Hyundai and sister brand Genesis plan to launch a lot of new EVs by 2030, according to this article:

The next vehicles in the Ioniq range are likely larger, given the Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 7 model designations.

So what does that mean for the Kona? Hyundai has been vague about plans for the Kona Electric replacement. It seems unlikely we'll see a smaller Ioniq "4" that's sized like a Kona and smaller than the Ioniq 5. I saw my first Ioniq 5 today and it looked BIG.

I believe the 2022 Kona EV is the last one. Ioniq platform will be the future of Hyundai EVs for the foreseeable future.
