I use my Soul at work and drive from client to client all day long. How much damage is being caused to the battery when the temp gets close to 100? Like this coming week. No fast charging at all, btw.

Can't always find the shady spot and covering not really an option.

    I should add it’s a 2017 with the 27 battery.

  4. The Soul EV has thermostatically controlled air cooling for the HV battery which though not as good as liquid cooling, is way better than no cooling as in the LEAF & e-golf. No fast charging in the heat is a great choice. I would suggest charging at home during the cooler night time hours using the timer in the car.

Good to know. That's a relief. I can enjoy the high of 122 Summer range without much guilt. (Winter's high is only 93.)
