We got rid of our 2018 Clarity which was leased, and leased a 2020 Nissan Leaf. Pure EV. 215 mile range. No gasoline.
Interesting. Anyone have info on 2021 Kia Niro?
This list is not comprehensive but it still useful. https://plugincars.com/cars
Just the comment about Korea catching up to Japan. More that Kia needs to catch up to Nissan.
Maybe, but keep in mind that Toyota and Honda do not have a pure EV that gets 200 miles on a charge. Only Nissan does.
Both of our Leafs had that. Cost about the same as Kia. Current Leaf even has more.
Too bad. Front camera and overhead using 4 cameras very useful. Maybe the 2021 model will have that.
Looking at Niro EV, cannot find any info on what cameras it has other than backup.
Makes you wonder why. We mostly use iPhone CarPlay. Maps show on the Clarity screen.
Maybe. Depends on what is available. Looking at Lucid and Mustang EV.
Absolutely. We use Apple Maps. "Hey, Siri, route me to Tomm's Joynt."
6 months to do on the lease. Can't wait to turn it in.
I use car play,
$35000 Clarity. Honda charges for map updates. $1000 iPhone (there are lower-cost models) Apple charges $0 for map updates.
Thank you, gentlemen, that did it! Save me the aggravation and possible COVID contamination.
I will do that. Is the reboot in settings?
The rear and right turn signal cameras stopped working. The display is fine since maps and menus display. The screen is blank except for text...
Gas gauge shows 301 miles left after driving 20 miles or so using ICE. No change in measurement.
To be clear, ICE comes on, or not, with exactly the same route, temperature, full charge. Inconsistent behavior is the issue. Not that ICE comes...
The issue is inconsistent behavior. Sometimes ICE comes on, sometimes it does not in identical situations.
