   Mine was a plug in and I was questioned about it after I sent in my application. I told them that the power draw required a plug in charger due to electrical code (true) and they processed my rebate. I sent them a picture of the install and newly installed plug.
   
   I just checked the web site, and plug ins are eligible for the rebate, so the pdf must be out of date.
