Ontario owners: how long does it take to receive the government rebate?

What was your rebate for?
I submitted June 11 and have received nothing.

 

How long after receiving the email confirmation did you receive your chaque?

 

Didn't get notification - just cheque in mail. (I did email last month and got answer that they were working on it...)

 

I submitted on June 26 and today I got this email:

Dear Applicant:

Your application under the Electric and Hydrogen Vehicle Incentive Program (EHVIP) has been approved for payment.

This message is to notify you that, in order to accelerate payment processing, all payments are being issued by cheque. These payments will not be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

The incentive amount will be paid to the name listed on the application and the cheque will be mailed to the address listed on the application.

If you have any questions, please contact 1-866-767-0638.

I got the email yesterday! June 24 -> Jan 24, talk about a hell of a wait.
Now to wait for the cheque to arrive... and the EVSE rebate...

it is always one wait or the other. now the wait for the cheque and the charger rebate

 

I have applied on 25 June and I haven't receive any response.

Is there anybody who applied on June and still waiting for response?

 

Has anybody who has received the email actually received the cheque yet? Or is that going to be another long wait? It's been 9 days for me so far.

I applied June 26th, on January 24th I got the email saying the cheque would be sent by mail. a week after, nothing has arrived, I am worried this "cheque-send-by-mail" thing is just another excuse to delay payments...

 

OK, my cheque has now arrived (car rebate). I applied June 11th, received email at start of last week, and cheque arrived 10/11 days later. So a 7.5 month wait overall.
I also applied for the charger rebate on the same day, and I received that rebate in mid-December, straight into my bank account, no email or letter or anything.

 

I got the email confirming payment by cheque today. I submitted my form July 31 but I did email my MPP about 3 days ago asking him to followup on my submission. So exactly 7 months for confirmation.

 

I just sent an email to my MPP to see if that will work. I'm also a late July submission.

 

Received my cheque today! Took a week from email to cheque arrival.
