I am in need of a replacement standard 120V charger for my Gen-1 Volt. The Chevy dealership charges almost $500. Can someone recommend a replacement charger?

Ebay or a local car parter might be the way to go if you want a used OEM one. All revisions of the Gen 1 level 1 charger self test, and if you get one that has a decent cord and no apparent damage, it will charge your car.

There are after market options as well. If you are willing to pay more, you can get a unit from Clipper Creek. A Gen 1 Volt will also charge off a Leaf charger. I have one as a spare level 1 for my own 2014 Volt.

    LOTS of options, honestly.

There are also Zencar brand portable chargers that should fit comfortably in the storage spot in the Volt tray under the hatch area floor: https://www.amazon.com/Zencar-Portable-Electric-Charging-Compatible/dp/B077N25YTG

I don't have any experience with those, unfortunately.
