Hi. Apologies if this has been asked already.

I was sitting in my Kona for about 5 min. the car was on but I wasn't running the radio/heating/climate control etc

I got a "battery discharge warning" and it advised me to use "the system" after starting the vehicle.

Whilst I do not know what the "system" is, should I get a warning if I'm not using anything?

I asked the useless dealership I got the car from and they told me that this warning always shows up. The guy did say it happens when you are using the radio etc but when I noted that nothing was being used he said that these warnings just show all the time and to ignore them.

    Is this correct?

    thanks

  3. It does seem abnormal that the warning came up while the car was "on". My first thought was that maybe you thought the car was "on" but was actually in accessory mode.

  4. There's not enough information here but if you pressed "start" without placing a foot on the brake pedal first then the warning is valid.
