Just after the announcement today that the Cadillac Escalade IQ is coming, spy shots were released of it. Since it will only be revealed later this year, it's unsurprising to see it completely covered in camo and vinyl cladding to disguise its shape and features. Below are three shots from the set. I've also included a shot of today's Escalade in profile for comparison. The Escalade IQ seems to have more of a rake to the windshield and the front below the hood seems less upright. It also seems to be wearing the same wheels as Cadillac Celestiq.
Your photo of the Escalade in profile is of the Escalade ESV (the long wheelbase version) so not quite the same as the Escalade IQ captured here. Have to wait for the IQL to be photographed to be more of an apt comparison.
Car and Driver discusses the confusion surrounding both charging and vehicle-to-home capabilities of the Escalade IQ and GM's other Ultium-based EVs. In that piece, C&D says the Escalade IQ is basically a modified Hummer EV, but for some reason it's at least 2 seconds slower to 60 mph than the 3 seconds it takes the Hummer EV to achieve that speed.
The Hummer has a three Motor setup, one FWD and two RWD motors, the Escalade EV has two motors, one FWD and one RWD for its AWD setup, the same as the Silverado EV. Actually the Escalade has more in common with the Silverado EV than the Hummer.
