  1. Ford is releasing a number of videos that will help familiarize future owners with their car.
This one below focuses on the door latches -- they are non-traditional approaches -- as well as how to gain access to the starter battery (yes, many EVs have a 12-volt battery) to charge it.

  3. This video talks about "selectable drive mode experiences," which is actually cooler than that corporate-speak.

Instead of, say, a normal, eco, and sport mode, the Mach-E offers Engage, Whisper, and Unbridled. Unbridled, of course, is like Sport Model and changes power output, throttle response, and steering feel. The video also shows how to engage "one-pedal driving."

One neat thing here is the driver's display echoes the dynamic movement of the vehicle as it drives. That is, acceleration, braking, and lateral movements of the car are reflected in real time on the screen. Pretty cool.

  4. All about over-the-air updates.

  5. Charging is a big deal and there are two videos to lay it all out for you.

  6. I like the fact that the Mustang Mach E comes with a 120/240 volt Level 2 charger. Every EV manufacture should do this!! It really is not that more expensive than a level one trickle charger.

  8. At 2:16 of the charging basics it indicates 48 A with the Ford connected charge station which translates to 11.5 kW OBC. Variable charging speed and live DC chargers status on the network through the app is handy as well.

Really nice feature is that it remembers the drive mode until it's changed - so it says. Usually these things return to the basic setting at next start-up.
