Exactly. I've seen people do this, but I am not interested in having that liability hang over my head.
Here's a video showing how to hammer a long rod and then a pipe underneath a sidewalk. However, this slip/trip-and-fall prevention doesn't address the electrical reasons for not using an extension cord to power an EVSE. I wonder how long the charging cord from an EVSE can be?
I believe the NEC has a limit of 25 feet for the charging cable from the EVSE. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
