Good question but that still doesn't explain Gjpzee's situation. Now I think about it, I had something like that happen once, too but forgot about it. Some weird regen funtion I guess.

  3. From the manual- ESC (Electronic Stability Contro;) applies brake pressure to any one of the vehicles brakes and intervenes in the electric vehicle control system to assist the driver with keeping the vehicle on the intended path.

And you're sure you don't have Smart Regen on?
This sounds exactly like how my Smart Regen works...

Dry roads, low speed, no loss of traction.

that is a very interesting question. I'll have to play with it in winter.

but they should really explain this better in the manual. everyone knows that the ABS will kick in if you try to brake too hard, but the addition of high regen braking can really mess things up. When I lift my foot off the accelerator I don't automatically put my foot on the brake pedal...

  8. I have had the same experience several times including earlier this week. Yes Smart regen on, but not that- it actually changes the setting in the setup/ coasting regeneration screen from 3 to 2 in ECCO mode.
