  3. Underneath the "shifter" buttons where the two 12V outlets are.

BTW: had a vallet guy compliment me on the car today and he said Hyundai stepped up the game ...

You can set it up so that one press also unlocks the passenger door as well.

I lay a cubical box on its side so that the available tissue is poking into my footwell. I also keep a towel down there for coffee spills and raindrops and such.

The Prius pioneered this type of under-console bin, and theirs was easier to reach into.

I've gone back to the manual to rediscover some door lock lore.

    • Pressing the passenger door button unlocks all doors, regardless of the Two Press setting. You have the key but you're not driving, so obviously others have to get in.
    • To toggle the Two Press configuration, hold the Lock and Unlock buttons until the lights flash.
    • Rear doors must be unlocked before they will open with the lever.

  8. I also really like the under console bin. Keep a couple umbrellas in there, towel, and some other stuff that usually ends up on back seat floor in my other car.

Being able to set priority on pairing Bluetooth devices. My previous car always seemed to pair with the “wrong” phone, and switching devices was buried in the settings.

Another thing I love: driving most of the time in Eco mode and being quite satisfied with performance and range, and then engaging Sport mode for that warp drive feeling! It may just be throttle mapping, but it certainly makes it feel like a completely different car. I also like that the instruments show what percentage of power is being deployed. Nicely done, Hyundai!

  12. Right now I love the range. I know it’s summer and I know it’s going to go down in the winter, but this is far exceeding my expectations. I am projecting 350 miles per charge which so far has been pretty accurate. Never expected that!

  15. Must be that eastern heat wave that you are receiving, beautiful spot.

  16. I knew I could open my car using that black button on the handle but (duh) just discovered today I can lock the door too! Never have to take the key out of my purse. Love!!!

  17. The one on the drivers door will open the driver door only with one push, and open all doors with 2 pushes, while the one on the passenger door will open all doors with one push. Wish there were a software feature to adjust so opening all doors with one push on the drivers side.

That would be the User Settings / Door / Two Press Unlock feature.

"The Two Press Unlock feature can also be enabled or disabled by pressing the door lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the Key FOB."

I like the under console bin that has usb port to hook up my Echo Auto, and just leave it there out of sight to play my music.

  20. Thanks , I will try that.

  21. A few little things I have learned to appreciate: All of which are not available on our other car.
    - Up to 5 blinks (only 3 on the Subaru) on a touch lane change.
    - Ventilated seats, boy do they feel good after a hot walk before getting inside the car.
    - HUD, thought it was just a gimmick initially, but I find it really useful for situational awareness by displaying just the right info at the right time.

Especially the blind spot warnings in the HUD. I really like that, and I don't know if it is available on many other cars.
