Now the author in the article tries to dance around the point and suggest that Tesla made the very point obliquely as if it were controversial. But that isn't want happened because its totally obvious. Musk pretty much named exactly how many Bolts GM would sell last year and it was the number needed to maximize the compliance take. Other clues are the econo-box compliance styling and how many dealers don't carry them.

Again this is part of GM's strategy to fail convincingly (as it did in the past right up to its bankruptcy and more public gov bailout- in truth every year is a bailout for it) because of the Trump admin. Its sorely mistaken. This is the firm that brought us lead in the gasoline. Its name needs to be revoked just like Bayer's was but this time permanently. Recently there was a GM shill piece saying it would have been cooler to have a classic Corvette on its way to Mars. Wrong, that would be like glory days with OJ.

You're clearly a shill for the petrol industry or a Russian troll trying to trick people into not buying Electric cars.

You clearly hate electrics. It's so obvious. You're trying to make the EV revolution 'fail convincingly'.

Here's an idea... go out and buy your own freaking Plug-In already. Go buy a Model 3 or Model S or Model X. And please stop spreading your hate for literally every single EV that isn't a Tesla.

Yep Model 3 best selling US electric by huge margin last month and possible the month before- more evidence of the compliance Bolt not fooling everyone.

I do like the look of the Volkswagon ID. Kind of question the low power levels but like that design, especially if they would tone down the chrome. That Volkswagon doesn't look compliance but its a joke that they think its for 2030, no its right now. To be fair they are probably indicating the 2030 is more their vision for the inside and that is a very nice inside.

It’s painful trying to read 101101 posts. It’s like what delusional paranoid schizo would write after smoking too much pot and snorting cocaine.

Yep, has nothing to say so resorts to ad hoc.

If You want people to take you seriously, try fewer run-on sentences. Maybe a paragraph or a dozen. With some sort of coherent argument laid out in a logical method. I’ve just mostly taken to ignoring your post, figuring it’s just generated by a bot.

As a correction, VW says 3million electric vehicles per yr by 2025. Not introducing them in 2030. Whether you choose to believe them or not is another issue.

Exactly what I would expect from a bot.

Well, I have driven a Bolt EV for nearly a year. Its sort of faintly insulting to read such comments from those who don't actually drive a Bolt EV, including HRH Musk I guess. The fact is the Bolt EV is one incredible car, and anyone who owns and drives one will agree for sure. It may be that a Tesla is even better, but not at the price, and there is no competition even now, so long after the Bolt EV was introduced. I can't wait for the next EV offerings from GM.

I stopped reading them many weeks or perhaps months ago. You can walk past a cesspool, no need to jump in!

Honestly, I suspect 101101 is in an institution somewhere, and perhaps the staff gives him internet access as therapy. At least I hope he's not walking around outside without a keeper!

Would a 'bot be programmed to write posts so aggressively offensive to almost literally everyone?

Perhaps that might be done as an intellectual exercise, or as a practical joke by a truly dedicated troll, but it's hard to understand why anyone would program a 'bot to write posts that way if they're actually trying to use it for propaganda/ marketing purposes.
