  1. Hello,

I updated my Honda Link app last week and it seems like I cannot charge my car nor can I pre AC my car. I cannot charge my car outside of the scheduled charge. The app only shows the odometer, but it is not even updated. Has anyone had this issue with their app? It's really annoying because I have a fully electric clarity and there isn't a way to cancel the schedule charge without the app.

I have the exact same issue with the app. It worked only once (first time logged in but nothing after that). I havent found a solution yet.

The button on the key fob is far easier to work with...

  5. It sucks cause we cant remotely pre ac our cars without the app working

Sent from my SM-G973U using Inside EVs mobile app

I have a similar issue but it only started on July 11. My odometer updates but I can't "Find My Car" and the charging status doesn't update either. I haven't tried climate control or anything though. Any solutions?

I don’t know if this is relevant to your problem, and this may be a special case, but with Honda link on my iPhone I usually find that after I do a command, it is necessary for me to delete the app from active memory and then re-invoke, if I expect the app to reflect the changes caused by the command. There is no “next” or “done” button that will update the app display. I now automatically do this updating myself without thinking...

Another way I use to refresh the state (like cabin temperature) is push the "Find My Car" then "Update Location". If the location is updated, the state will be updated too. Pulling the screen downward doesn't have any effect most of the time.

I found the answer to my problem. In order to get all the remote command stuff, Find My Car, charging status, etc., I have to pay for it. Apparently in Canada, I get a free trial for one year of the HondaLinkTM Link package and then after the trial period is over, I only get access to the Basic stuff like Vehicle Guides, Recall notification, book service appointments, that sort of thing.

You're sure about that? Because the dealer told me that it was lifetime free for the Clarity. How much is it for whole thing?

The website is definitely confusing. On the Honda Clarity page it does say "no subscription required" but when you click on the fine print disclaimers, it says that after the trial period, there is a fee to continue. I asked how much it costs and the guy told me $129/year. I'll call again to get some clarification.

For some strange reason, all my remote stuff started working again. **shrug** I don't know what happened but whatever...
