    I see a software update coming !

Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion any stopped car that is in gear or turned-on and ready to roll should really have its brake lights visible regardless if ones foot is on the brake pedal or not.

I have it on auto Regen. It shows lvl 3 that's when brake lights come on. Didn't really notice the lights in other lvls.

My first gen leaf didn't have Regen brake lights, Regen wasn't as strong. Not used to how strong the Regen is in this car.

How are you liking Auto Regen? Any tips from what you have experienced? I am very keen to try Auto Regen as I think that would be something I would use all the time (from what I have read so I may be wrong).

I love it. You can adjust levels with the paddles. High speeds highway driving it turns regen down. In city driving its turned up to level 3. Can be adjusted, i just leave it on level 3 cause i know brake lights come on.

All quiet on the western front. Any new updates? photos? anything?!

Random question to any current owners who have actually taken delivery - what is the headliner material made of? Is is that ultra-cheap fuzzy foam material or is it an actual fabric? Would be interesting to see just HOW cheap Hyundai had to make these in order to include the heat pump for Canadian models. I'm concerned ever since learning of the lack of power adjustment on the passenger seat, no USB or heat vents for rear occupants and the lack of power-fold side mirrors.

I can't really trust what I see in YouTube videos anymore because there seem to be big differences between regions. In the UK - they don't seem to have interior ceiling-mounted handles. The indent in the headliner appears to be there but no actual handles.

  9. The Canadian specs never included any of the features you mentioned. If you look at the specs list in the brochure it's all there. I wouldn't anticipate anything NOT listed being there either. I agree that there are a lot of varients out there.

I know I was bummed over things I saw on UK cars etc but what you say is correct. We weren't promised those features. I'm okay with what we have and still excited to get ours. I sat in a Kona EV and it was nice with the light interior. I can't remember what the roof material was --just regular same as my Ford C-Max look to it.

Good information on EV charging in this video.

  13. A cloth roof is specced for the Ultimate. I agree, not something most people notice on quick inspection but it adds to the overall quality experience.

  14. Don't forget, the Europeans don't get Blue Link control which I think is a huge advantage for us.

Or should be if it's fully functional and has been designed specifically for an EV.

    Completely agree,
It's just the variants that are throwing me off. I meant more from a *things a $60,000 car SHOULD include* perspective lol.

  16. Oh, I get you. I want all the glitter too at this price. But, frankly, I have always had small, Econo cars. Everybody on the forum complaining about lack of power features makes me giggle as I just got used to power windows instead of cranks!

Great point - I'd take blue link over MANY features. Great visibility on your vehicle without having to physically see it or be near it.

    Yup that's fair!
There's just a little hesitation going from a 5 year old Santa Fe with ALL the features and amenities and cost very little to a vehicle that cost significantly more and has less power features. I cannot complain though - the driving and safety features alone make up for it. And the fact that it actually does have Active Lane Keep Assist which means it can drive itself under most conditions is HUGE when you're stuck in a monotonous drive for 60+ KM one way like I am every day.

Mind you that isn't me, I found this on YouTube. I am interested in the preferred trim, though.

My dealership received one Kona on the weekend but, alas, it was someone else's. They are expecting 2 more to arrive on Thursday, one of which is mine. :) (Vernon BC)
