Hello all, I'm looking to replace an egolf with the clarity for our daily commuter. I was wondering what kind of monthly payment people are getting on their cars. I'm shooting for a 450 payment with tax and 2000 drive off (36/15k) on a touring model. Thanks in advance.

Was able to get two dealers two agree to 467.40 with tax and 2k drive off. It’s close but I’m going to try to see if any dealer in the area can beat it. Didn’t post in the original post but I’m located in NorCal

What happens to the tax credits when you lease?

Goes to the leasing company in this case Honda Financial, and a portion is sometimes passed down as a lease credit.

Yeah, I noticed that. Like I said, no deal right now. Inventory is building up. I would wait until June.

What's the difference between base and touring? Leather and Nav.

I have the electric so they threw the whole kitchen sink.

Electric has leather but I prefer cloth seats. Cloth seats are more expensive than leather seat to manufacture. It's a nice bonus for manufacturers.

467.40 with tax and 2k drive off
    Total cost is $18,345

    Touring cost $36.5k minus 9000 credit/rebate is $27.5k.

Better to buy and sell at year 3 than lease at that price.

Not interested in purchasing. Will be using the lease as a write off and who knows what the vehicle will be worth in 3 years. And msrp with destination is 37490 plus sales tax and fees which would put it over 41k.

I always wonder how the lease write off works. I have a side business. I just write off mileage for my Van.

You should ask your question on leasehackr.
