I have to support those using RainX applied to the window and the RainX wiper fluid. I do use the RainX windshield cleaner (paste) to clean the window before applying the RainX. I do not get streaks doing that. And reapply the RainX about once a month. I was worried about the wipers before getting this car due to the comments. So far, not an issue for me but that of course does not mean you are not experiencing an issue.

I also apply RainX to the side windows and rear windows. Really helps.

Hmmm. @KentuckyKen likes your post. @KentuckyKen likes RainX, too. @currypotter are you, er, related to @KentuckyKen? Actually after reading your post and @KentuckyKen's incessant promotion of RainX, I've decided to get some tomorrow. Is the paste better than the 2-in-1?

Make sure you get the RainX paste to clean the window first.

    The shareholders thank you!
Although I’m still waiting on my endorsement check along with my royalty payments from Mattel for being the inspiration for Barbie’s boy toy Ken. And would you believe I was a professional Trophy Husband? If so, I’ve got some prime swampland in Florida to sell you cheap!

Seriously, once you see how well the RainX works, you’ll never go without it.

Is RainX helpful in snowy and icy conditions?

Somewhat. I notice that the snow and freezing does not seem to stick to the windshield as bad which makes it easier for the wipers to push off. I get less of the wiper chattering across a solid layer of ice on the windshield.
I buff one kind of RainX on the glass and add another kind to the reservoir.

I just put aquapel on the car and it repels water amazingly well. Check it out, it's some strong stuff though.

  10. Another vote here, for Aquapel over Rainx.
