Hi all. Brand new Clarity owner here. When I plug into 120V, a faint humming noise comes from the car. Is this normal? I’m guessing maybe it’s the cooking system? Temp in garage is about 50F.

By “cooking” I meant “cooling”. Stupid autocorrect.

LOL. it'd be nice if sth is 'cooking' - you get home, and you bring a hot meal to the family!

joking aside, it's all the internal computer controlled electrical charging and regulating that's making the noise. don't forget the cooling fan, either. there is a lot heat under that hood when the battery is being charged. you're fine. enjoy the ride!
