I have never regretted my choice of white....until now. Your modified silver looks great but makes me feel a little over the hill in my plain-Jane white.
At least I can still pretend it’s Stormtrooper white.

0hhhhh, Clarity porn slipped by the censors!
My plain Jane (but tinted) vanilla Touring is now insanely jealous.
I bet every pigeon in a hundred miles is gunning for bragging rights to be the first to test that ceramic paint.

Trust me, some birds already have and hoards of bugs have made the ultimate sacrifice against my front end.

I like what you did to the front end. I actually think the Clarity looks pretty great as-is (including the wheel covers), but for some reason the headlights look fuddy duddy to me. How much would that cost to get done professionally, do you think? I don't trust myself to do DIY

Love the rear wheel skirt cover! Been thinking of doing this for sometime but have no idea how to get the correct cut... How did you do it so clean?

@V8Power , any issues with the new rims and tires? Really like the look of your car! I am on a hunt for replacement wheels, but something other than the optional ones from Honda. I am also on a hunt for compatible (for the rim) curb rash cover/rim protectors. Anyone with experience with these for the Honda factory wheels would love a heads up or recommendation. However they are not cheap, but less than new rims by far. Anyway, just looking for feedback and waiting on Amazon stock! ;-)

For now I am looking at these:

You have to look closer. The original fenders remain completely intact. There is black plastic wrap applied to the top of the wheel well. It is cut perfectly to continue the arch of the wheel well. This ploy would not work on a black Clarity. The plastic-wrap solution is much less expensive than cutting the steel away and preserves the efficiency of the aerodynamic fenders designed by Honda. And it's easily reversible, unlike cutting steel.

On the other hand, does no one ask why it appears that you have four semi-circles cut out of the sides of your car ;) !?

I have loved the distinctive look of the Clarity and the way it stands out from other cars. It isn’t like other cars in its design or performance, and I like that it’s appearance doesn’t match other cars too. Several people have asked me about the car after noticing the rear wheel skirt. I talk their ears off about it’s fabulous features. After 18 months of ownership, it remains the favorite of all the cars that I have owned. To me, the changes decrease it’s beauty. But I respect, to each his own.

I just bought a 2020 Clarity in Modern Steel (a charcoal metallic color). I was going to get red, but when I saw the Modern Steel, I realized everything integrated better in terms of color. No matter what color you get, there will be black on the car (tires, glass, molding, even the rim inserts are dark). So, in my view, the closer everything is to black, the more integrated the appearance. I don't know why anyone would complain about the looks of this car. It looks great. If you don't like it, you really shouldn't like much of the current Honda lineup. I particularly don't understand why people don't like the wheel skirts. What's so great about seeing the top of the tire and the well it's in? I had a 2003 Insight, and I know a lot of people didn't like the much more noticeable skirts on that early Insight. As others have said, to each his own! I will be making many modifications to my Clarity, but almost none of them will change the appearance of the car (particularly not the outside). I'm going to put in blind spot monitoring, an advanced alarm, backup sensors, a dash cam and other things. All of the work will be done by an experienced installer I've been going to for years.

Fixed the side flap taking inspiration from above posts. It took like 1 hr to do.

I really like the 19 inch rims. Did you guys have any issues xhaning the rims? With Range or warranty?
