    FYI
ChargePoint just put its 32 Amp, 18 ft, hard wired EVSE on sale for $519 shipped.
This is the lowest price I’ve seen in a while. You can upgrade to 25 ft cord or plug in feed for more $ if you need to.

Yes, I've been extremely happy with it (I got the 32A hardwired model with 25ft cord for $559, shipped).

Where is it $519? It’s $599 on Amazon, which is the link provided on the ChargePoint site.

It’s also $519 at Home Depot but then you have to pay tax. Sometimes on the old internet you can avoid taxes except now Amazon is everywhere so it may not matter.
The sale is for National Drive Electric Week so may not be for much longer.
BTW, hardwiring saves $ at purchase and at installation-no box and receptacle to buy.

For people who use Amazon (most people?), I recommend using a free Chrome extension called Honey (https://www.joinhoney.com/) as it can show you the price history for the item on Amazon that you are viewing to know if you are getting a good price and jump on it or if you should wait, and it can also notify you if the item you are watching drops below a price that you set. Also it collects discount codes and can test them for you to see if any of them work... that works occasionally too. No commission for me, just a satisfied user. :)

Here is the price history for the item under discussion:

I had a terrible experience with ChargePoint's customer service when I tried to ask them some technical questions. It took them 4 days to answer an email. I tried calling their driver support number, the rep was kind of rude, not knowledgeable, and redirected me to their Sales number. Their Sales rep Told me to call back to the driver support because they couldn't answer technical questions. I call back to driver support and finally got my answer from them though --> the ChargePoint plug-in is not weatherproof and using it outside will void the warranty.

I placed an order for a JuiceBox Pro 40 plugin today! It cost me a little more, but their tech support was awesome!! The JuiceBox is fully weatherproof and outdoor use is covered under warranty.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I’ve called ChargePoint on 4 occasions and every time I’ve gotten a very courteous person who referred me tech support when needed and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction. It’s always been a very pleasant experience. I’ve never tried the email route though. But all the interactions on the phone I’ve had with Driver Support have been on par with LL Bean or Fidelity Investments who have arguably the best customer service out there.

I got my JuiceBox Pro 40 last December when I bought my Clarity and I’m a big fan so far. I was most impressed by their willingness to customize the length of the NEMA 14-50 cord on my unit before they shipped it to me.

That sale didn't last long... they are already back up to $519/$559/$559/$599. Glad I pounced on it...
