I remember seeing in a couple of threads where some of you have fashioned some type of enclosure for the J1772 plug at the car charging port to help with preventing rain/snow from the charger but I have looked this morning and can't find them. Can someone point me to the right thread?

I searched and found this for you.

Check out post 11 from @GrayRed on this thread. He modified an inexpensive winter insulating cover that is made to keep the hose spigot on the side of your house from freezing up your pipes. It’s a very clever mod for all y’all who live too far north. He even painted it to match has Car! He also has a picture of a storage holder for the handle and cord if you keep the level 1 charger outside. That will keep the snow out of the handle contact area when not in use. Both look like a great way to handle amounts of snow I don’t ever want to see. Born in Ga, moved to KY, and that’s as far north as I’m a gonna go!
I tried out mine and it fit the opening on the Clarity. Just be sure your buy the rectangular one that has a hard plastic cover. The oval ones don’t fit very well. I’ve seen them at Wally World and the blue and orange big box stores. Looks like a little surgery and a zip tie is all you need.
