I don't have a picture right now but the bottom half of the door on the back drivers side door is coming off my Clarity! It's crazy, I can't think of a reason why it would be. It's like peeling away. It's probably glued on? I don't know. I have an appt with my dealer on Friday to get it fixed, better be covered under the warranty. I also told them I want the HV range issue fixed. I'll post after I get everything done. Has anyone else had that problem with the door?

I have one corner of the small bottom panel coming loose on the rear door-drivers side. It does appear to be some sort of glue as I can push the corner back into place and it will hold for a second or two then slowly peel away. The panel is on the exterior of the vehicle.

No automatic car washes, no disturbance of any kind. Door not used routinely.

I will take it to the dealer at some point as well.

Is this on the inside of the door or the outside??

Exterior...I updated original post to reflect this. I dont think it's any thing to be overly concerned with. This car is not entirely quasi unibody like we've become accustomed to. There are several smallish panels on the exterior which are attached with some sort of adherent. Door panels are aluminum I believe. This engineering is all about weight...and glue makes sense. Unique car... I'm looking forward to the adventure.

Yes, that's exactly the problem that's happening to mine! I'm not worried about it per se but it should be fixed and since we have the HV Range issue to fix as well, I'm going to do both at the same time.

Mine is doing that as well driver side passenger door. Same as others -- no trauma to the car, only hand washed, etc.

Anyone have any luck having the dealer fix this under warranty?

What, is this panel held on with contact cement and the left rear door assembly area at the factory ran out of it one day? How are the door skins attached to the door frames?

Apparently double sided taped. They fixed mine sorta but it is starting to separate again. They told me if it comes apart again they'd have to order a new panel...an educated guess would be my panel is warped a little bit to be putting that much pressure to pull it off.
I had thought of contact cement but I'll let them fix it for now...lol

This happened to my Clarity within the first two months of getting it. The black panel on the driver's side front door started peeling off. I took it to the dealer, they ordered in the part and replaced it within two weeks of the visit. All covered on the warranty. Pretty annoying though
