Of course it's a demand issue when you building as many cars as Tesla is doing now.

It's really strange how some Tesla Death Cultists try to recycle old news as if it's new. I used to see that a lot when I was reading Tesla shorter posts on Desperately Seeking FUDsters Seeking Alpha. Too much time on their hands while awaiting with anguish the next stock shorter "short squeeze"? o_O

A news item from more than a year ago; June 16, 2017: "Tesla updates free lifetime Supercharging policy with Dec. 31 deadline"

I am guessing you did not read the story close enough.... Model S and X are losing lifetime free supercharging, the program is changing to 1 year free supercharging... And adding Model 3P to the 1 year free supercharging is the same as adding incentives, except Tesla can defer the cost of that incentive for up to a year... They gain the profit on the sale now, and the cost of the incentive shows up over time as subsidized supercharger usage.

...just as reported in the year-old article I linked to. Older Model S/X cars get free supercharging for life; newer ones don't.

The words you're looking for, David, are "I was wrong, and thank you for the correction." Not trying yet again to deny you are wrong. If you want to rehabilitate your reputation here, now is a good time to start.

OK, my wording was not perfect... On new purchases of S and X lifetime unlimited free supercharging is changing to 1 year free supercharging... Is that better?
