... and need suggestions for level two charger at home. We've just used regular 110 to charge the Leaf but if we added the Tesla, we'll have a Level 2 charger installed. With the different plugs, what's the best way to handle? Get one with a J1772 connector and use Tesla adapter for the Y? Or is there a J1772 adapter that I can use on a Tesla charger? I don't think there is but thought I'd check here and see ... and see if anyone has a better suggestion. Thanks!
Tesla lowered the price on it's Wall Connector which can be used also to charge your Leaf using Lectron Tesla to J1772 adaptor. This adaptor has worked well for me although I did at the time pay ~$140 USD. It may go on sale again as Lectron do have price reductions occasionally.
The latest price on Tesla's website is $475 for the level 2 wall charger. https://shop.tesla.com/product/wall-connector
