I just bought a 2023 Kona, this is my first electric car. Does anyone know if I can put an adapter one my 120v charger to plug into my 240v dryer plug? I have read that some have done this, but my charger says input/out is 120v I don’t want to ruin it if it can not.

  4. My 2023 Kona came with a 120V charger that is listed in this doc. Tried it at Christmas to charge at my folks on 240. Worked perfectly. Twice as fast as on 120!

A 30 Amp EVSE is pretty low cost and will provide more than twice the power (and not need a hazardous adapter)
