I bought my clarity 3 days ago and it has the same rattle. It appears to be coming from the left tweeter speaker as well. Bob, is this the same location as the A frame joint you are talking about? Or did you have two sources for your rattle?

Brand new car bought 6 days ago and I have the exact same problem. The left side corner of the dashboard is not set properly and is hanging below the end corner of the A-pillar. I was not expecting this kind of "fit-finish" miss from Honda. (Tesla ? Sure !) You press on it and the dashboard goes down. Looks like there had to be a clip or something below which locks the dashboard with the A-pillar. The right passenger side is perfect. Will be posting a picture soon...

The cure, at least partial, was to put foam in the covers for the airbags on the pillars left and right of the dash. See my prior post.

Several have posted that their dealer fixed the rattle with some foam tape.
Yours sounds like it also has some structural issues as in parts not secured properly. Get a dealer warranty fix. (Maybe one of the few things they know how to fix on the Clarity!)
PS: Kudos to Bobcubsfan for first reporting on the location of the rattle being in the A pillar area.

Here are the pictures. On the left we see the GAP. Dashboard is not aligned properly. Left side is all good. Sorry for the lack of clarity (no pun intended). The sun was bright and the edge didn't quite resolve in the picture.

Yes our driver tweeter speaker rattled one day. I could just touch the face of it and the rattle stopped. Hasn't returned.

I have the gap on the drivers side dash. Took it in to get it fixed, dealer comment was "Hondas are known for this, this isn't a Mercedes!". Of course, my jaw hit the floor. I didn't have time to leave the vehicle again to have someone else look at it. Passenger side is perfect, everything else is as well. Does anyone else have this type of gap?

I also have the tweeter rattle issue, which I'll have to take in to get resolved...

My dealer suggested it might be the heads-up display, but tapping on it produces no rattle. I'm liking the foam idea. The dash panel that adjoins the windshield rattles when I tap on it, so adding so foam to exert pressure on it could be the cure.

See my post above with the pictures showing that gap between the A-pillar and Dashboard on the far left corner. Looks like there is solution to that. The rattle got minimized with the Foam tape in the A-pillar. But I can't help to notice the Gap everytime I drive. :(

Thanks to this forum, I was able to determine the source of my buzzing noise as the driver's A pillar trim. There was a narrow gap at its base where it meets the dash, and the two pieces were vibrating. I stuffed a 1/2 inch wide length of black felt into the gap and the buzzing noise is gone! I'm going to do the other side just for good measure. Photo of my work included. 2018-06-08%2010.40.45.jpg

Mine looks like that too, on the driver's side, and when I push on the white part it clicks into place and then pops right back. On the passenger side it is perfect. I don't plan on getting it fixed because it's not making any noise after I put felt in the gap. See my post below.

Hi - just adding that my Clarity has the same issue with the dash on the driver side. I'm yet to determine if that is the full reason for the rattle sound... my gut tells me its the rear view mirror as well - but if I keep pressing down different parts of the dash and mirror it doesn't seem to stop. I just hope I don't drive into a tree trying to determine the sound.

It was the airbag covers on the pillars with the tweeters on our Clarity. Dealer put foam under the covers. Rattle gone.

I have rattles coming out of the driver front door and some coming from the left side of the dashboard.

Have dealer check out what I had done. Sound can travel.

I have to sincerely thank you. I had the same repair done yesterday and the sound appears to be gone! I never would have figured it out. THANK YOU!!!

It took quite a bit of detective work. Sound travels. Glad it worked out for you.
