  4. According to InsideEVs contributor Tom Moloughney, he's heard that,"Our engineers are about to finish the programming of a software repair solution that will fix the non-compliance issue. The software development is in the final stages and the solution is expected to be available as of mid-December."

    Not sure how they fix this with software, but there you go.

    I had heard but am suspicious that their new software may inhibit our ability to code the BMW i3-REx into a useful car. I'll let the others try it first ... or take a 'test drive.'

  6. Hopefully coding will still be possible. Being able to get the engine in the ReX to kick on early is pretty important for some folks, as well as all the personalization you can do.
