Is this good energy consumption?

Hi, about two months ago I got delivery of the 2022 Kona Electric long range. Although there was an initial manufacturing defect with the climate system that I had to get fixed in the service center, I am loving the car so far! Attached is my energy consumption for last month. Are those good numbers in terms of consumption? I love EVs but haven't had time to geek out about the details of this yet.

Note: I live in Central Europe where the weather has been in the range of 18-30 degrees Celsius in the past month. Also I mostly use braking regen set to level 3.

    What do you guys think?

    Regards!

I'd say that's pretty damn good. My Leaf is using around 13kwh/100kms right now. It goes to around 16 in the coldest winter months.

What are typical speeds you are driving at most of the times ? I am guessing about 60 km/hr or less.

Nope! It's a mix of highway/urban/suburban. In the past I was taking the my old ICE car on the longer runs to keep the fuel from getting stale and preserve the EV battery but not with today's gas prices. One can't go very fast in built up areas. On the freeway I drive 105km/hr which is the same as the governors on the big rigs. When in a hurry I drive 120km/hr. On the 2 lanes I usually drive 90km/hr.

  6. I would say better than mine. But elevation and speed play a major roles.

highway, on the same condition, same day, full regen, 20 C outside with med climate control
    100 km = 12kwh
    110 km = 13.5kwh

Anyway, coming from my old leaf 2013, don't complain much about my range and consumption.

  8. Very nice, efficiency is a true benefit with these cars and at those temperatures anything under 125Wh per km is a bonus:)
I am happy with my latest at slightly cooler temperature and strong wind gusts.

I drive to our capital once a week (200 km per week) at highway speeds around 120 km/h. Then I also drive about 50-100 km per week in the city doing errands at around 50 km/h.

In the meantime, I did a week-long road trip from the Czech Republic to Slovenia so I will make sure to post some statistics of this also together will charging times, costs and overall experience with the EV.
