  1. I am shopping for a used Bolt, probably 2019 or 2020. One option that is a must-have for me is the surround-view camera. Does that come standard with the LT version or do I need to look for a Premiere? Or, do I need to look for one of the Driver Confidence packages?

The 360 camera system is nice. But, tbh, and imo, it shouldn't be a must have item, as it only views the ground about 4 feet around the car (the easier (therefore cheaper) thing to do, is to walk around the car before getting in).

But, for me, the Backup Camera, and BSW (I wish vehicles had audible alert on the right side) are a must.

It is standard on the Premiere. Though, on the LT, I believe it's an option.

But, if it's not, and you must have it, there is an aftermarket 360 camera system available, https://www.stonkam.com/products/360-Vision-Systems-BVA08.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhYfHv8K-8wIVkwaICR2YfQuyEAAYAiAAEgLgFfD_BwE

I'll be selling my 2020 Premiere. If interested, shoot me a DM/PM.

Thought it would work driving down the road but apparently only slow speeds. I guess I understand the reasoning. Would really like the rear view camera in the mirror but not willing to pay the upgrade cost!

This isn’t really the use case to look at with respect to the cameras. The around view is incredibly useful when parking. Check to make sure you’re within the lines of a tight spot. See how far you are from the curb when parking in a city. Make sure you don’t run over the kid’s scooter that he didn’t put far enough to the side when pulling into the garage. For that sort of thing, it is absolutely wonderful to have.

Or in our case living in a retirement community to make sure we dont run over a neighbor. We always have to be careful as the Volt we have been driving kind of sneaks up on them. Lots of hearing aids and bionic knees and hips here so folks dont move too fast! Hopefully the low speed noise on the Bolt will be better at letting them know we are coming.
