Apparently only on Android, the old app won't run anymore on the iPhone.

Shhhh don't tell Mini. I want that info still ;)

Especially since I still don't have a fish. What model do you have?

Sorry, I should have included that. My SE is Iconic trim.

Hmmm.... interestingly I tried it again on my way home. The fish showed up for a speed warning, but nothing else. Kind of funny it did but made me upset it's not there for happy lol

I have a Sig+ i wrote in asking but I'll push again. Maybe when trying to figure out if a faint rattle is on a super bad road I drive is fixable too.

What I really want to find out about is how to get the 2022 LCI software loaded on the 2020/2021 SE. Does anyone with a 2022 have the fish?

Is that the Minimalism Analyzer in Green mode? If so, then yes! I have not tried to use it. I’m just lead footin’ it in Sport all day long.

It's interesting that the total charge may be reflecting the total amount of electricity used and not just the % of battery recuperated. For example, today I charged from 75% to 99%, which would equate to about 7.1kWh of the 29.8kWh battery. However, on the app it records 11kWh was used, which would make more sense since the electricity is not going to be converted 100% into the battery power. On my Tronity app, it records the 7.1kWh as it probably just convert the % charged directly into kWh. But the Mini app may be more accurate in recording the actual total amount of electricity used during the charging session. That's pretty cool.

I honestly just want the darn fish. I tried reaching out to Mini and they said they don't know why. Silly but it was something from my kid and I when when he was younger. I was given a number to call to find out what's up. Ugh.

I'm surprised that MINI would reserve the fish for only the Iconic trim. I don't know of any other trim-specific software differences. What do you see when you switch to Green mode and then activate the Minimalism Analyser?

I am going to call now that I have time. I see the 5 stars in the two lines for Anticipation and Acceleration. Then when I was going 76 I got a fish pop up when the speed warning came up. Something isn't right....

Edit: I called and they do not have an answer for me so they are doing a detailed inquiry so they say. We'll see what comes of it.

Oh, your SE came with the lazy nanny-fish--it only comes out when it's scared.

I can confirm I have a fish on my 2022 signature! First time I've been in green mode since I drove home from the dealer lol

I haven't heard of a single EV manufacturer that's implemented this yet, which is extremely disappointing after almost a year after the feature was released (iOS 14). BMW and Ford supposedly were the first to commit to supporting it.

Yeah, I’m surprised there’s hasn’t been more news around this feature. Given how publicly they announced it’s release. Assuming the interface was well designed and relatively simple to implement.

I was disappointed, as well, that this is not yet available.

I was curious and took a drive with the fish after work yesterday. I had zero stars in Anticipation and Acceleration - the fish image was very unhappy, and the tank water was all wavy. I accelerated like my grandma out for a Sunday drive. Every couple of minutes the fish would jump out of the water and update the star rating. Other than that the image is static. After about 20 minutes and 13 miles, I managed to get 5 stars in both categories, and the fish was happy and the tank water smooth.

I then punched the accelerator to the floor, and the image immediately changed to a hilarious panicking fish with the tank tilting backward, and my acceleration stars dropped to 2 out of 5, just like that. Another punch of the accelerator got me to one star, and a third punch to zero stars. I'm not very minimalist.

I could see this entertaining younger kids, for sure. But, for me, I get more entertainment out of rapid zoom zoom.
