My wife drives our 2014 BMW i3-REx and is very happy with it. For longer trips, I volunteer to Uber her to Nashville and back.

  5. Congrats!

Hyundai is buying back my 2019 Kona Ultimate and I am looking to lease another EV to replace it.

    Today I test-drove 2021 Volvo XC40 recharge and 2021 Audi e-tron Premium.

Both cars are nice but I was unpleasantly surprised. The monthly payment for the Volvo was $279 more than what was advertised on https://www.volvocars.com/usa and for the Audi it was $400 more than the advertised monthly lease payment on https://www.audiusa.com/

I am just curious if the numbers on tesla.com are accurate. Thanks!

I've never leased a car so I can only share my purchase experience:
    • $41,000 - had to buy Autopilot and the blue color
    • $18,300 - trade-in value of 2017 Prius Prime (i.e., PHEV, 25 mi EV range and TSSP their driver assistance)
    • $22,700 - out of pocket not counting the pest fees and taxes
Bought March 26 2019, our Std Rng Plus Model 3 has 48,092 miles. We drove back from Nashville TN, heavy footed and A/C on Saturday, June 26, 2021:
    • 229 mi indicated range - (229 - 240) / 240 ~= -4.6% range degradation.
    • 53.3 kWh battery full charge - L2 charger starting at 1-2 mi indicated range to full charge. Some of this is vehicle overhead during charging.

Not sure about lease numbers.. The numbers for financing are pretty accurate. They were correct but of course did not consider options and sales tax (in case you finance sales tax). My loan estimate was like $710 per month and I ended up paying $794 per month. I've never done a lease as I drive way too many miles to be worth it for me.
