Ioniq 5 Production delays...

  2. An electric motor shortage?! I was sure this was going to be related to the computer chip shortage that stopped production at a good number of auto factories around the world.
    It is interesting to see what kind of production they were looking at, and should get to soon (hopefully). I think 10,000 cars in a month strikes me as a pretty ambitious number.

    Example of latest "wave winding technology" by Schaeffler makes installation into the rotary magazine less complex and increases power density (800V, 180kW, 950 N.m torque)
    Traditionally the price increases in the late spring, however this year it has nearly matched the 2011 all time high.
    It will not sustain and prices have already started to decrease so long term affects will be minimal;)
