  1. Ford has just released details about the top two performance trim levels of the Mustang Mach-E.
Before talking about the performance numbers, I just want to say that I think I like the black nosecone on these more than the body-color ones on the non-GT trims. Also, the "Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat" paint on this car looks soooo good (pic below).

But anyway, the important numbers are for horses, torques, and range. The two (so far) top performance specs boast 480 horsepower. The Mach-E GT offers up 600 pound-feet of torque, while the Mach-E GT Performance gets an extra 34 lb-feet of torque.

That extra bit of juice is enough to propel the car to 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds. The GT (non-Performance) does it, according to the original press release, "The GT is targeting 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds."

This extra performance comes at the cost of range, apparently. We already learned the EPA-rated range of the lower trim Mach-E variants and now we know them for these two models:
    Mach-E GT = 250 miles
    Mach-E Performance Edition = 235 miles

Other differences include bigger wheels and brakes: 20-inch wheels and 19-inch brakes.
The ride height is also different -- 5.3 inches instead of the usual 5.7 inches.
The turning circle is also slightly larger -- 39.7 feet instead of 38.1 feet.

The GT also gets Ford Performance seats and a few small interior changes.

If you're interested, you can order in the Spring for late summer delivery.

    I like it!

  4. I like it too but I would like to see a comparison between the Mach e GT and the Polstar Performance. Those are two on my list to consider when my Kona lease is up.

Have to wait for the actual road tests and head to head tests.

I want the Cyber Orange paint job.
