Saw a recent update regarding the Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program (LDPLIP) in Texas.

    https://www.tceq.texas.gov/airquality/terp#LDPLI

Texas doesn't have any incentives right now but is requesting vehicle manufacturers to report on the vehicle models that manufacturers plan to sell in the State of Texas that meet the eligibility requirements for a rebate incentive under the LDPLIP for FY18-19.

It says " for a rebate incentive under the LDPLIP during the Fiscal Biennium 2018-2019." Does that mean it is applicable only for purchases made after 01/01/2018?

Glad to see the rebate is back in Texas soon!

Looks like they brought back the restriction that the vehicle has to be purchased in Texas. No rebates on Tesla vehicles again... -_-

It looks like that but I am not sure. Someone who has knowledge of such programs might be able to answer.

No, it's not active yet. It won't go into effect until they release the application later this summer.
