Ford Mustang Mach-E may have more range than advertised

  1. Ford already released range figures for the various Mustang Mach-E configurations but a rumor says those are about to see some increases.

    The current ranges are as follows:
    • SR, RWD: 230 miles (370 km)
    • SR, AWD: 210 miles (338 km)
    • ER, RWD: 300 miles (483 km)
    • ER, AWD: 270 miles (434 km)
    • GT with Optional Equipment: 235 miles (378 km)
    * SR (standard range battery), ER (extended range battery)

    If the rumor is true, don't look for dramatically higher figures. Every extra mile would be appreciated, though, as some configurations are lower than we'd like to see in 2020.

  3. Real world testing in Norway with extended range battery and all wheel drive with a targeted WLTP driving range of 335 miles exceeded energy-efficiency expectations, travelling 301 miles non-stop from Oslo to Trondheim, with 14% battery capacity remaining.
