Honda e Bjorn and the microwave

  1. So in europe, it has a 220 volt 1500 watt output, which means that in addition to supporting a microwave, it seem to be already to provide car to home back up if your home does not have electric heating or AC, but 1500 watts is enough to run refrigeration, lighting, computers etc.

    It was a funny video, he didn't go hungry. He should have offered microwave popcorn to the other people waiting while charging. Lol

    I wonder what the thought process was at Honda when they decided to add this. They could have just added something that could charge a laptop and everyone would have just nodded. But 1500W?

    The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has the same thing. 1500W power on 2 AC outlets. This makes it useful for backup power.

    The Honda e can be a hero, coming to the rescue of BEVs that have run out of charge.
