So this is weird, my dealer...who told me he could not get my car, just emailed me saying he'll call this afternoon and has 'found' my vehicle. I will report back , maybe there are some more Base models coming after all.

Yup so it's a done deal, he says it's coming in next week, White Base model. Vin ends in 606
So you ordered in May and are getting it before people that ordered it in March?
According to my dealer they have not gotten a single one.
Maybe he got it from another dealer or had a guy back out, otherwise what a fiasco.
So did you ask him "how?"?

I have no idea at this point, he sent it all to me by email. I will ask for some more details how they pulled it off next week when I go in to the dealer. My guess is that it's from another dealer because he is saying next week , not 3-4 weeks to pick it up.
Based on the VIN, it is part of the latest shipment. Maybe someone backed out...

I'm in Vancouver area so the totals are different from Ontario & Quebec as we have only $5000 incentive. I got $900 off of MRSP and all weather mats.

This make no sense. How can there be a Base with VIN 606 mix in with all the other Touring with high 59x and low 62x, 63x? Did they just make 1 Base in between all the Touring?

I hear ya, but the VIN matches up to a base model with what Markclarity said above. We will see next week when it is supposedly arriving.

I feel bad for all you folks up north. I checked my local dealership and they had 21 Clarity sitting in the lot.

If not for the horrible exchange it would probably be worthwhile to figure out how to get them across and still qualify for the rebate. The excahnge probably makes it a non starter though.
