I just learned that my car was produced two days ago. Must have been one of the last 2022s. Very excited to see it soon!
I just called MINI Canada today and they told me my car is also waiting at port in Germany. Is that usually the case? I thought it gets shipped out directly from the UK.
Mine reached the port two days ago. I bet ours will be waiting for a ship together and make the voyage together- mine is ultimately heading to Boston, MA.
Has your's left yet? Do you know which ship it will be boarding? Canada doesn't have MINI Garage :(

Probably had to make a quick stopover in Germany to pickup some BMW X1, 4/5/6/7/8 series, i4/iX, and ///M vehicles.

No, not yet. I see that there is a RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) vessel scheduled to depart for NYC on 3/14. I'm outside of Boston, MA so I'm hoping that my MINI makes it on that ship. But you never know...

Apparently once your status changes to In Transit in MyGarage, you can call Ask Mini and they can tell you what ship it's on. Of course, that's not helpful if you don't have MyGarage in Canada. But maybe MINI Canada can tell you more about when yours is scheduled to leave Germany? This site lets you see info about scheduled vessels for one company: https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/schedules

My Signature white/silver is on a boat as of this week. Looks like the ship started in Bruges, Belgium, then over to Portsmouth UK, and now is picking up a load of BMWs in Germany. It will get to a port in Oxnard, CA in April. Ordered early December. I should get mine by late April.

Mine has been at the port waiting for a few weeks. I wonder if the war is affecting the ships taking off. Small problem obviously, that war is terrible…

Just noticed that my status changed to "Production Begins". I wasn't expecting that until next week, so not sure when that actually flipped (haven't been checking on a daily basis). I guess I am leading the 2023's as the factory reopens.

I checked My Mini status and it went from In Transit back to At the Port..that's weird
Mine did that too. It showed At the Port, then In Transit, then back to At the Port. Apparently the first Port is overseas, then transit is across the pond, then when it goes back to the Port it's the US port (or destination). Mine sat at the second At the Port for about 10 days before going back to In Transit to the dealer.

Oh wow, good to hear there's some movement. My 2023 still says "scheduled for production" but glad to hear some things are moving forward.

FWIW, I've tried all of that .. including different browsers .. and still can't get past this "enter your address" screen.
  • In fact I get something similar on my iPhone Mini app: it wants my "salutation" and "state", and it throws an error each time I try to enter these. It's as if some backend db won't allow updates to my profile?
I've had Mini tech support on this since friday 3/4, still no fix...

Update 3/16: MiniUSA rang me to say they were able to manually enter my address, so now the web site is working. (They also added my production number, so my vehicle is on the account.)

However the Mini iPhone app is still jammed (Salutation/State dialog) -- they said they would keep working on that...

@Torrey has there been any further movement on your tracking with the plant supposedly reopening yesterday?

I am sad to report that the status has changed back to "Order Received" :-(((((((((((((((((((
Yup, mine changed as well. Hoping this is an across the board update. I did add the aluminum dash and anthracite to my Sig+. Was told that would not bump me back. I wonder if they moved all iconics to the head of the line.

I just had the EXACT same thing happen. I changed to aluminum dash and anthracite headliner on my Sig+ yesterday. This morning it still said "Scheduled for Production" and when I checked five minutes ago it had switched to "Order Received." :( When I talked to ASK-MINI about two weeks ago they had said it was estimated for week 12 production (this week). If it still says "Order Received" later today I may call again and see if they can give any update.
