Hi there, did anyone try the Ebay adapter to verify that it fit or found another alternative to the adapter? Thanks!

Honda makes an adapter that I used to install an air horn. If you don’t want to cut and solder in a spade terminal/lug, I recommend getting one from your dealer’s parts dept. Don’t forget that if you replace both horns you’ll need two of them.
Here’s the link for them and they didn’t charge me any shipping.

And here’s the link to my install using it with lots of pix.

  4. Changed mine today. Got a few surprises. One poster mentioned that the connectors under the front of the cover were in slots and the cover could be slid back. Not. They are in slots but there are some tabs on the cover that insert in slots on the base. That cover is not sliding anywhere. The horns were a tight fit especially the one on the right. No big deal but not expected.

Overall an easy job, but the "it will slide" slowed me down for too long.

Probably me. Sorry, the connectors (some of them) are in slots, but I didn’t mean to imply you could slide the cover off and on.

Quite the contrary: once you yank it off, if any other connectors are left behind in the frame, I was intending to recommend removing them and then sliding them into the cover. Once all the connectors are in the proper place and all are on the cover, it could be pushed back on (no sliding).
