There is no Porsche that will recover more than 1000 mph of range. Not even close and when the V3 gets applied to plaid and the greater than 370 mile range it will be much faster still.
Granted current S & X models don't charge as fast but Porsche has nothing that will touch V3 on Model 3

The Porsche 800V system appears superior to the Tesla V3. In fairness, Tesla cannot re-engineer the physical characteristics of cars already on the road. According to Motor Trend, the V3 (250kw) charger does reduce the charging time of a firmware updated Model 3 long range battery car (10% to 90% charge) by between 20 and 30 percent. The initial charge rate was very fast, but fell off to not much more than the V2 rate as the battery charged. Undoubtedly, future Tesla's will be better able to take advantage of the higher charge rate.

The Porsche 800V fast charger is 350kw. The Taycan is reported to have a maximum charging speed of 270kw. By using 800v, the wires in the charging cable and the car can be thinner, although the insulation has to be better. The Taycan is also backward compatible with 400v charging systems.

It is hardly surprising that improvements in EV charging continue to be made. 37 minutes (Tesla V3) and 20 minutes or so (Taycan 800V) charge times are both huge improvements over those of the past. It is important to remember that Tesla's charging network of 1400 stations actually exists, whereas Porsche promises 600 800V chargers by the end of 2020. Also, at $155,000, the Taycan should not be compared to the Tesla Model 3.
