Hyundai is breaking new ground with their complete line of IONIQ vehicles. It's the only one made as a Hybrid, Plugin Hybrid and 100% Electric. They offer a Lithium starter battery in the Hybrid, an Industry 1st. All 3 are the most efficient of any car made. All 3 have a Lifetime battery warranty, another industry 1st. Sure the electric and plugin versions are still very rare but we'll watch the sales numbers to see if they are really serious or playing compliance. Various reports are that Hyundai was caught off-guard by unexpectedly high demand for the Ioniq Electric, and that they will be making serious efforts to ramp up production. It will be an interesting test case to see how fast that happens!
