Hyundai 45 concept debut

  1. The Hyundai 45 concept made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September '19. Named "45" because it came 45 years after the first Hyundai Pony Coupe concept debut, it's quite striking to look at and was received quite well.

    The press release talks mostly about the interior and exterior design. There's a mention that it uses an electric drivetrain, but there are no mentions of range or performance.

    Here's a short video from its debut, along with a few images.

    I know some people aren't especially keen on concept cars, but I think this is beautifully done and opens up lots of possibilities for future products.

  3. The 45 Concept was given the green light for production and there are shots of heavily camouflaged prototypes out there. I (or anyone else who wants) can share those in a separate thread but now, Hyundai just released a video of the original concept these many months later and I'd like to share that here to give more insight into the basic design.
