The PHEV CT6 is somewhat impressive. It does have some irritating flaws. To be a real PHEV it should have about 50 miles of range so that you generally don't use gasoline. But that isn't what GM wants, they still want people regularly having to buy fuel. 50 miles of range can cover a 20 mile each way daily commute plus lunch with no gas used. GM doesn't want this, they wan't you using gas which is ridiculous, so they hobble it and try to lean on the combined eMPG- but every 3 weeks or so you end up filling up at a gas station even if you just use it as a commuter.

But worse than that and insane is GM only putting the Super Cruise on its gas only product.
Even level 2 autonomy on a gas mobile is like trying to put an ICE engine in a buggy. Like putting a cassette player in your Tesla. It just doesn't go, gas powered autonomy is just plain stupid. And now it turns out that the Super Cruise's more limited use case likely doesn't work as well as Auto Pilot 2 with the most recent upgrade. All part of the fail convincingly strategy.

on Tuesday it announced that Super Cruise will be available on every MY2020 Cadillac. A year later, we should see the system show up as an option in other GM brands.https://19216811.cam/ https://xender.vip/ https://testmyspeed.onl/

Basically all Caddys sold next summer/fall onward. I suspect by then road coverage will be even higher given how much effort they're putting into mapping.
