I’ve had my iPhone X for 2 years, with never a hard crash until recently. It’s now happened 4 times, each time within a few minutes after exiting our Clarity. At first I thought the crashes were related to disconnecting from CarPlay, but it happened today exiting the car without having plugged in, leading me to think Bluetooth is involved. Anyone else had this happen? As an aside, the crash has the phone showing the little shutdown icon circling endlessly, with no normal button pushing or screen tapping having any effect. The trick for a crash like this is to hit volume up, then volume down in quick succession, followed by pushing and holding the power button until the phone resets. Had to look that one up - it’s hardly intuitive.
I may have had the crashes, but I don't remember. I do not use the Bluetooth with the Clarity, and for some reason I had my Iphone 'forget' the connection several months ago. I use the cable connection exclusively.
