   I have read that charging to 100% is bad and you should only charge to 80%.
   
   Is this true of the Kona as well? Opinions?

   Typical of the myths that are endlessly passed around forums, that have no more than a grain of truth in them.
   However: Don't leave an EV sitting unused with either a very high, or very low charge - charge only when needed, and if it is run right down, another full charge will keep the battery balanced...
   Otherwise there is NO % level that is best, keep it at a part-charge that fits your needs.
