A recent InsideEVs news article says the car was delayed, but hopefully a new partnership will get it into production: "Morgan Teams With Frazer-Nash To Get Electric EV3 Into Production Next Year" This sort of tiny open cockpit roadster is utterly impractical, but I'd love to be rich enough to afford one! P.S. -- Why three headlights? (Obvious answer: Why not? )
It's about as impractical as a Lotus 7 or an Elio. I'd buy one if it's halfway affordable. If they imported them to USA, hopefully it would be treated as a motorcycle so they would not have to hang some big bumpers on it.
Because it's a three-wheeler and classed as a motorcycle, it avoids having to comply with regular automobile regulations. So, no big bumpers. Also, as I just learned now, the first production vehicles all be the very attractive Selfridges UK1909 versions. Picture below.
Ah thanks, Domenick! I wondered about the variant with two headlights I've been seeing when I do a Google image search for the car. I like it better because it's much more symmetrical, plus it has two seats instead of one.
