    1. My RT commute is 22 miles. Will it charge at Level 1 @ 5-7 miles per hour as dealer said?
    2. Are there reasons to stay away from this car? I really liked it in test drive.
    Thx for any input.

Unclear, Michael, if the price is USD (?) $22,000 or if the car has 22,000 miles (?) on it.

Does Level 1 charging mean "with a regular 115 VAC, 15A outlet"? It may mean that to you, but members of the forum are reading it all over the world.
If so, your dealer is not snowing you about the charge rate on a regular outlet, that's about normal. I get slower recharge at the cottage with old wiring and slightly faster at home with brand new wiring.

Are you trying to determine if you can charge it for your daily commute using only a regular outlet at work?

  4. It should do what you want and there are no major issues with the Kona. Your miles added per hour may be on the lower end of that range but you could always buy a Level 2 charger.
Just check that there are no clicking noises as you slow down.
    Presumably it has a warranty?
