  1. A groundbreaking new battery technology is being developed and tested to enhance the performance of an electric vehicle.
By placing this new battery technology into a Tesla Model S P90D test vehicle, to extend the range over 700 miles, and battery life of up to 100 years, this will replace lithium ion battery technology in EV's.

  3. At which point in the future do you see this technology being adopted by the major manufacturers in a cost effective way?
Look forward to the test mule results, thanks for sharing the video;)

The last time I heard about Gruber Motors was their efforts to rebuild early Tesla Roadsters. A Google search reveals they had a fire in October 2021 that destroyed a number of Roadsters: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/gruber-motors-fire-destroys-more-than-30-tesla-roadsters-waiting-for-repair-171950.html

Looking for engineering specifications at their web site, I failed to find kWh / unit of weight or any other engineering specifications. Perhaps others might find them?

    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson

  5. "groundbreaking" battery technology will not become mainstream in probably less than 10 years. So don't hold your horses.

  6. Three to five years for Ev:
Currently, solid-state batteries are used in devices such as pacemakers and smart watches.

Mass market production of these batteries for EVs is three to five years away, experts say.

    Toyota acknowledges the same timeline:
"Currently, solid state batteries are around seven or eight times more expensive than lithium ion, and the cost won't come down enough by 2025 to make them a viable solution for EVs.
    ...
The next-gen Prius might have a solid state battery."
