Nice article. I recently saw the Duesenfeld, a German company that do complete recycling of lithium-ion batteries.
About battery recycling: native ores - typically 99% of the original material is discarded to extract the production minerals. batteries - typically less than 10% are discarded materials. So apparently recovery of valuable minerals is 'easier' from native ores versus the exceptionally rich materials in a battery. Bob Wilson
